16 / 11 / 2009 -- Phase V Done
Greetings.

As of today, Phase V of Project Omega is complete. I finished up a few loose ends and put the code up for testing on the production server. I did discover a couple inconsistencies already, i.e. some XML parsing code doesn't play nice, but that will have to wait for a bit.

This coming week, I take a break from development and do something else. Anything else. Mainly, I'll be working on the Zero Hour Productions charter, organizing my ideas and notes, maybe flesh out some of the former, and generally making sure that the Phase VI launch will go smoothly. Intermediate development will be more challenging...and more fun!

INFINITY mission 7 is posted; this week's show will feature coverage of PC game music, since consoles get most of the love.

Speaking of love, I do very much love New Super Mario Bros. Wii - all the 2-D platforming action I grew up with, polished to a beautiful 2.5-D luster, and overflowing with good times. The multiplayer cooperative aspect is a lot of fun, even though I end up carrying (sometimes quite literally) the rest forward. On top of that, it doesn't detract from the single player experience.

Mr. Bond, signing off.
