25 / 1 / 2009 -- Normalization
Greetings.
All right! Project Omega is back on track - the completion of Phase III, Week IV marks the return to normal scheduling following the recent hiccups in time since the start of the new year.
Week V will see the beginning of actually implementing the various sketches and diagrams that have been done thus far. They won't be very complex - mostly simple prototypes to assist in refining the interface design: add stuff, remove stuff, retool stuff, and the like. The important part is, I'll finally be getting into the more technical parts of Project Omega, something which I've been looking forward to since the Project's inception.
Also, starting with this post, all news items will be cross-posted to the newly-christened "Newsstand" (formerly "Forum and Project News") as a means of improving communication and interconnection between the network proper and the forums. This will also allow additional opportunity for public feedback for the network and forums as a whole. The title of the news items here will be linked directly to that item's thread in the forums; archived items will receive an additional link to said thread when necessary.
In other news, Winter-een-mas 2009 officially starts today! The holiday runs through January 31st as a tribute to gaming.
Mr. Bond, signing off.
