16 / 11 / 2008 -- Non-Co-In-Ci-Den-Tal
Greetings.
Okay, so those audio files still aren't up. It's not a matter of not having the space or the facilities or whatever - it's simply that I haven't sat down with that particular goal in mind. So, I am reserving next Sunday (the 23rd, the end of Week VIII) to get it done, just in case it doesn't get done earlier in the week.
To get back on track, Phase II, Week VII is completed, with its payloads ready for the validation that is to follow in Week VIII. Realistically, the payloads that are "final" will likely change many times before (and likely many times during, as well) implementation, but it is comforting to mark something as final; it lends a certain...stability to something that would otherwise be quite volatile.
In other news, the end of the semester is rapidly approaching, and with it, the end of Phase II. Ironically, I timed the Phases to be more or less in line with my remaining college semesters (two per). This wasn't by explicit design, mind you, but more along the lines of an incredible coincidence. In that same vein, the Phase breaks along the winter holiday seasons happen to envelope Christmas Day. Further from that, the Phases themselves lie about four to a year, and along with the scheduled Breaks, neatly divide the year up according to meteorological season. I don't know if this series of coincidences are coincidences at all...but time will tell, eh?
Hard to believe Phase II is almost up, and interface design is approaching rapidly. Better brush up on those graphics skills...
Mr. Bond, signing off.
