15 / 2 / 2009 -- Nature Abhors a Surplus

Greetings.

Another week come and gone...I really need to find whatever quantum singularity is responsible for the altogether faster-than-usual passing of time.

The past week's INFINITY (Mission 2!) passed pretty normally in comparison to the first broadcast. No weird technical issues, plus a solid recovery in terms of overall running time - close to our average 3 hours.

I think my co-host will be absent for the upcoming Mission 3, so I have to pull double-duty in terms of preparing a playlist. This comes at a good time, though, as I've just acquired a couple new sets of tunes that I want to expose to the world.

I'm still a bit behind on posting the recordings, thanks to unexpected weekend happenings, but I'll set aside some time this week to get caught up again. With any luck, that will happen before Friday.

Week VII of Project Omega's Phase III is done - now the core and extended interface templates are all but complete. I've been mocking up the prototypes steadily over the last few weeks. I may be biased in saying so, but...I think they are shaping up spectacularly.

Week VIII starts bringing in coloration, thematic, and branding elements. Since the beginning, I've tried to apply everything as if Zero Hour Productions were a business, so this week will be key to maintaining that effort.

Although I may consider pulling that notion back a bit, as I've received more than a few mailings from corporations that think ZHP really _is_ a business - shipping and telecommunications service are some of the more aggressive entities. Funny how I really didn't even have to ask for this stuff, as far as the "system" is concerned.

Mr. Bond, signing off.
