Greetings.
All right, let's finish this off.
Firstly, this will be the last news post under this old, temporary portal. The next new post you see (which will not be in another month - I will make sure of that) will be with the content integrated from Project Omega and will look all shiny and new. There will also be the "new" audio broadcast / podcast interface on the front.
Secondly, I have secured full-time employment, starting immediately after I graduate. This is an incredibly good bit of news, as it takes a lot of stress from me at a time when stress is already pretty high. I will be doing software development for
Epic, a medical systems company based in Verona, Wisconsin - they were my number-one choice in all the applications I sent out, so I am very excited to have my first choice pull through. Suffice to say, the pay and benefits I will be receiving is...spectacular.
Thirdly, I will likely be out of contact for a few days at the end of May, while I move to an apartment that will become my permanent home for some time. Who knows, maybe I'll move around a bit, but I'd like to find a stable location to inhabit for a few years.
Fourthly, open registration on the
Forums has been disabled, due entirely to the copious number of spam registrations and the annoyances they cause. If you'd like to register on the
Forums,
send us an e-mail with your desired user name, and we'll begin the registration process for you.
Lastly, there are some
Network Directives posted in the new
Operations Deck, part of the revamped
Forums. These Directives provide our direction, and are part of the post-Project Omega development initiatives.
Speaking of, I'll say this now, since now is better than later. Zero Hour Productions is putting into effect an open call for new members, administrative and non-administrative. If you'd like to join us, please contact me either through the
Forums or
administrative e-mail. Granted, there's not a lot of content available now, but this is a chance to get in at (or near) the ground floor, and we want as much creativity and drive as we can get in these matters. You have my word that participants will have all the support necessary, regardless of how much time I may have personally.
Mr. Bond, signing off.
