31 / 8 / 2008 -- Karma = Awesome

Greetings.

If you would have asked me how the week was going yesterday, I would have said "okay". Now, however...this is a great week, thanks to a little metaphysical idea I'll call karma.

As you may know, last week I had a triad of tech-related items fail on me, the most notable of which was my primary laptop. But today, it miraculously is back to normal. In addition, the internal wireless card on my secondary laptop is also working again. My right channel external speaker is still broken, but for two out of three, I'm happy with the spread.

Now, I'm not normally one to attribute anything to karma and other similar phenomena, but...when it works out okay, I'm perfectly happy to put stock in it. Ha...

In project Omega news, I slightly misjudged the party-like nature of Labor Day weekend, thus I am a little behind on the payloads for Week IX. Accordingly, Week X will begin on 9 / 2 / 2008, rather than on Labor Day, as originally planned.

Ah, well. I'm just happy that many things are working so much smoother now.
