Greetings.
It suddenly occurred to me today that I haven't really clearly described the entirety of Project Omega since the
official announcement. Given that the Project itself is roughly nine months into development, it is high time for a revised summary and a bunch of links to more information. Being the efficiency nut I am, I have already compiled said revision into a fairly comprehensive e-mail (to be sent to all registered
forum members immediately after I post this).
Se here's the e-mail in duplicate (sans the official release info that's linked above, for your sanity), just because I want to have everyone equally informed, registered forum member or not:
Greetings.
Zero Hour Productions (
http://zerohour-productions.net/) is proud to announce the completion of Phase III for Project Omega. What is "Project Omega", you may ask? Please read on...
A quick run-down of Project Omega follows, written from the viewpoint of MrBond, Project Leader and Zero Hour Productions Administrator. For more information, please see the official announcement here:

----
(snipped for brevity)
----
A brief history:
Project Omega began in July of 2008. There are ten Phases in total, with each Phase encompassing roughly 12 weeks' time and 10% of the entire Project. One week of "off-time" is allocated between each Phase. The projected completion date of Project Omega is the end of 2010.
----
So what:
The completion of Phase III marks roughly 30% overall completion of Project Omega, and is a major milestone in the Project's development. Starting with Phase IV (set to begin 3 / 30), Project Omega enters the system development period, which covers 50% of the total Project timeline.
Sneak-peeks at some of the graphical elements of Project Omega (completed during Phase III) can be found on MrBond's deviantArt account - it will continue to be a temporary location for graphical elements until ZHP is up and running in full:

From now on, all registered users on the Zero Hour Productions Forum (
http://forums.zerohour-productions.net/) will receive these update notifications (sans the quick run-down above) on the completion of each Phase, as part of an effort to keep the general public more informed on Project Omega's progress. Regular updates are made weekly to the ZHP main portal (
http://zerohour-productions.net/) and forums.
Specific questions on Project Omega should be directed to MrBond:

Now, due to the nature of Project Omega as it currently stands (it being in development, and all), there are, naturally, certain details that cannot be shared at this time. I cannot even begin to estimate how much has been shared as of now versus how much there is to tell.
Besides, what fun would it be to tell you everything at once? ... Okay, to be honest, not even _I_ know everything about Project Omega. A work in progress is never fully understood, even by its originator.
In audio-related news, I finally have the INFINITY missions for Campaign Sierra-0-9 split so GCast can play them properly all the way through. It's just a matter of uploading and organizing them now... Previous INFINITY missions will eventually be segmented, as well...after the most recent stuff gets done.
Mr. Bond, signing off.
